I am sure this has come up but in my search i could not find anything. I have 55 chevy car 210. Has the vacuum wiper motor. I want to switch to electric but keep things looking original. I know raingear offers replacement but i also see there might have been an original electric motor offered in 55. Is that true? And if so are they a direct replacement for the vacuum version? Thanks for any info.

It's very easy to change over to the factory electric motor.

On my 56, I changed from vacuum to electric a long time ago, then electric to RainGear a couple of years ago. I just checked and I still have the electric motor I took out. It was working fine when it came out. You're welcome to it if you want it. There are no instructions with it, but I remember it being a pretty easy swap.
