I'm looking at a '36 Chevy Master Deluxe Coupe to restore that's about at my level to restore. Looks like a driver's side door would probably be easier to replace, than to repair, at least for me. Maybe both doors. Any ideas as to where I might find doors close to KY?
Thanks in advance..

Doors will be tough to find anywhere in the US! I think I'd plan on fixing the existing doors first.

I agree, find a good metal fabricator in your area and have them repaired...the chances of you finding Coupe doors in better shape will be slim to none.

Seems like I recall someone buying early VW Bug door repair skins and using them to repair early Chevy doors? They're really cheap at around $100 and have similar contours.
Considering what I found when I bought lower door repair skins and inside door frame pieces and had such a bad fit, I'd never buy lower door patch panels again. Those I got from Chevs of the 40's were 1/4" too long inside and out, so I had to cut the inner panels in half and cut out the 1/4" then weld them back together. Outside I just cut it off one end to avoid a center weld seam.
