Ok Folks its been a minute since I've been here so thanks in advance for any and all help. Heres the situation, Doing a wire conversion to 12 volt and am now at the part where I wire the ignition switch. I've rewired my 49 chevy fleetline before but that switch had 3 connections for wires on the back and this 46 only has 2, aligned vertically when switch is installed in the car and looking at it from under the dash. Which pole is for what or does it matter. There is also an armored cable that goes to the coil. I connected gas gage wire to the top post and a wire from Ammeter to the Bottom post, both wires subject to repositioning if need be, the instructions of where to connect them ask for 3 wires to be connected, One to the ACC terminal, another to the battery terminal and another to ignition terminal.
Also Im still using the floor stomp button type starter
