Hey y'all,

Anyone know of a manufacturer that does 1.75" long-tube headers for a SBC in my '68 Biscayne? Everything I'm finding for a reasonable price is 1-5/8".

1 5/8" is right size for a moderately built small block, larger is usually a competition based design.

I hear ya, Shep.

But as you can see in my sig, I'm running a fairly stout and slightly biggish sbc. I'd say one step above "moderately built". And at this point in its development, the 1-5/8" Hedmans I'm currently running, are not helping it breathe free enough.

Pretty sure Hooker makes a 1 7/8 header.

1.875" is too big. At that point, I'd have to run the Stahl flanges/adapters to make that size work. I'm specifically looking for 1.75" as that's the biggest I want to go using the factory exhaust flange config.

Yes, I meant 1 3/4. Sanderson lists 1 3/4 headers but look like block huggers. I had 1 7/8 Hooker comp headers on my 426 Mopar race car, it had 1.88 exhaust valves
