I'm cleaning up my tail lights in preparation to get them installed. The tailight housing has, what I am assuming to be, a drain hole. This hole had some sort of soft rubber plug/valve.

Can anyone comment on these plugs? The ones in my taillights can't be reused. I suspect most people don't replace them if they are missing. If you have replaced them, is there a source or did you make something?

Thanks.

Those plugs were on every taillight ( I have about 50 used tailights ) plus NOS taillights - they have foam plugs.
The plugs are not reproduced.

With new interior and exterior housing gaskets the plugs will not be needed.
