2006 trailblazer my speedometer will go to zero then after the next start up it will be fine,then
later on it will go to zero again. Anyone have this
problem before?

Wow. Easier to diagnose if it was the entire cluster. The step motor could be failing. Since it does come back to life, I would suspect a bad solder joint. Do you have a scanner that can read speed? You can hook it up and see live data. If it's continuous, the output sensor is good. A bad connection at the cluster will be hard to diagnose. There are companies that specialize on fixing instrument clusters.

I was just going to post the same info, had the same problem with my 2003 TB, overall not a good vehicle.

Please let us know how it's fixed. A picture would be nice if they find a bad solder joint. Looking at YouTube videos, even loose connections have been found.
