Not if the T-10 and Muncie both have the speedo connection on the same side. If the Muncie has a passenger side connection you may need a longer cable.

One thought about the speedo, may be a good idea to check the speedo gear in your transmission, just have a look at it- they are made of plastic, see if the teeth are not broken. Also, take a picture of the gear and count the teeth. If you find your speedometer is way off after you are driving the car, it’s good to know what’s in there if you need to get a new gear with more or less teeth to get your speedometer speed adjusted. Good time to get a new cable too if you didn’t replace it already.

Putting on my 'Carnac the Magnificent' persona; I predict the next question is:
Why is my speedometer jumping back and forth and making a lot of noise?
Not being critical; just 'connecting' to those old enough to know who Carnac was.

So I installed the 4 speed Muncie and the speedo cable is not long enough. It’s too short. I need a new longer one between 4-5” longer

Cable connection on drivers side passenger side? Most Muncies are passenger side connection for speedometer.

When you order your cable order is for a later car 66 on up thats when the cable was switched over to the passenger side.

The cable in the 3 speed is obviously shorter than the one in the 4 speed, transmission is shorter? Should be easy to find a bit longer cable. A 4 speed cable driver side hookup is 63 inches, how long is yours?
