Hi All,
Please give your thoughts on:
    --The Chase format.
I'm ok with it, as-is. Maybe change it so the final 8 race for last 3 races. Highest points earned wins the championship.
    --The final 4 drivers.
I'm fine with those final 4 drivers. Should Kyle Larson have been one of the drivers? For sure, but the team had to earn it and they had a horrible round of 8. The team got what they deserved, and I like Larson --> is my driver.
--Joey Logano as the 2024 NASCAR Champion.
Everybody played by the same rules. He & his team definiely earned it! They played the format correctly and got hot when they needed to. Congratulations to Joey & Team Penske!

My comments are in RED.

I am okay with the present format. Also okay with them doing some changes. Larson is my driver, but also like Joey, always have. Will see what happens next year.

The current playoff format is OK. It does force the hands of the teams/drivers to execute perfection as they escalate towards elimination at each bracket.

One ax to grind here...my man Truex. The guy never actually wins a race during the season, but by the end of the regular season, he's the driver with the highest points standing without a win. So he got into the playoffs.

But what killed it for him was both a couple of mistakes HE made during races (sent to the back for pit speeding violation, fast qualifying but then start in the back for parts swapouts, etc. During alot of the racing season, his pit crew was just slower than many others, causing him restart position loss. The guys just worked his arse off all season to make up for this, but with this playoff format awarding a spot in future brackets, it definately shows teams/drivers that don't have their chit together.

I'm NOT a Blowgano fan. But they guy is a future HOF entrant if he continues to win. Can't argue with that.

In that final 4 in Phoenix, I was rooting for Reddick. That guy has persistence and great racing talent. He races clean too.
