I have a 2006 Trailblazer with extensive body damage. I'm wondering what my options are in swapping bodies onto the existing chassis. The engine, transmission, front/rear axles, etc. are all in working condition. I'm looking to find the easiest body only swap alternatives besides another 2006 Trailblazer body. Any input will be appreciated.

Welcome to the site. 2006 is a transition update year. So 2006-2008/09 are your best options. You could probably find a nice body with a blown engine. Keeping the VIN becomes an issue. Check your state laws. Online places like Craigslist and Market Place are ideal for blown motor chassis. Swapping interiors shouldn't be a problem. Having a lift to roll the chassis out makes work easier.
What's the engine combo?
