I got this car in 1978. Came from California so no rust at all, still has paint on the entire undercarrige and gas tank. But has been in a few accidents. ~100,000 miles on body
I'm considering selling it as money is tight.
Needs some body work, paint + vinyl roof. Has dented rear which also has dented 1 quarter. That dented quarter was replaced in another accident with new GM. Car still drives straight. Accident happened when E-bake did not hold in reverse and rolled into a tree ~5 mph
Has new GM fenders/inners too and valances. One door was hit and replaced with a rust free GM door. Have most of the chrome parts/emblems, including the parts for the SS hood.
Missing air connection hardware to operate headlamps.
Drivetrain not original motor but a 69 370/350. Was rebuilt to bare block by me in the 1980s, since has developed a knock. ~ 20,000 since the rebuild all moving parts replaced/machined. Motor has elderbrock single plane mainifold 4150 Holley carb. Solid headers and 2 1/2" exhaust w/crossover pipe. Extra set of bumpers and front/rear glass
Has non-power drums up front. I do have spindles and rotors to convert to discs, would need to turn rotors. 11 in clutch and M20 Muncie, 12 bolt rear with multileaf springs. No stock gauge package, or console but full set of SW mechanical gauges and tach. Mr Gasket vertical shifter. ET mag wheels in good shape, tires have tread but are 30 years old. Power steering. Also have a nice set of SS hubcaps for steel wheels.
Front end solid, all parts replaced with Moog brand, and new control arm bushings
Seats/interior/rug/headli ner in good shape.
No pictures it's buried in the back of my barn.
Would be a great starting point for someone to get get going again. What do you think? It's in Massachusetts and not many of the 67-69s have survived the winters.
