My 65 Bel Air sets a little lower in rear than I like, with full tank of gas (and trunk loaded). I was checking into Air Lift bladders that install inside rear coils, do not want air shocks. Found that they have been discontinued by company. Still available for many other vehicles though. Some kits (#60736) are still around NOS. I was wondering if they had a problem with 65-70 kits and that's why they were discontinued?

I actually have in-spring bags and lines on my parts shelf. For a later B body. On my 65, I went with Delco air shocks. Completely transformed the car. With a minor increase in pressure, the ride height was back to stock. Even better, the ride and behaviour over bumps is night and day. I should have done it years ago. Carefully routed the lines along the frame, put the fill behind the license plate, it looks stock. Hasn't leaked in the 18 months since install. Don't rule out the shocks.

Thanks, I had air shocks on before I restored the car, seems you get a more natural ride from the air bladders inside springs. I may reuse the air shocks if I find that the Air Lifts were a problem in 65 vehicles. Dennis
