hi, looking for help from people with blown motors. Im currently pulling my trans modulator vacuum from a port at the bottom of the carb on my blown engine. The only other option I see is an 1/8" tapped port on the back of the blower intake which im sending to the 6btm unit. Do i leave it where its at or is it better on the downstream side of the blower at the 1/8" tapped port
thanks jim

You need “manifold vacuum”. Connecting at the base of the carb should accomplish that. Put a vacuum gauge on the port to be sure.

The operating range of normal modulator is 0 to manifold vacuum, find a source in that range. Some performance modulators are adjustable to fine tune transmission shifts to the engine's performance characteristics.
