whats your take on using these? i have 2.5" drop coil springs up front on my 62 and the passenger side tires rub the inner wheelwell (top of wheelwell when compressed while driving)...it was so bad, when i had a passenger, the tires would smoke from the friction of rubbing so in that incident i had my passenger sit in the drivers side rear...that helped to get the 62 home. plus the weight of the battery im assuming didnt help.
a bit of research and i figured id try these isolators. i put them in and the front passenger does sit higher just a bit like half inch or 3/4 inch but i havent been able to drive it to check the ride quality since the steering is apart. any bad experiences with these? i have the ac delco ones NOS i found on craigslist...seemed like good quality ones.
for info, these are hard plastic/rubber pieces that go in between the coils to increase height
any opinions on these are appreciated.

They're primarily function is dampening spring harmonics and eliminate metal to metal contact. And of course they will raise the suspension slightly, but wheel backspace may be contributing to your problem. No issues using them, common practice. After the suspension settles get the front end aligned.
