I've changed out everything you can think of. I have spark and fuel. Sometimes, when engine is cold it will start and run, but with check engine light on (code 34). Testing of the MAF sensor revealed that the sensor is working properly, but no signal is being sent to the ECU. Got it running than drove 3 miles, shutdown the engine went to eat. came out and had a no start. about 30 minutes later the engine started back up. Once I shut the engine down, it would not restart. Had to tow it home. Check engine light was indicating Code 34 and 42. 86 Camaro 2.8L V6 MPI engine. I need help?

When it won't start do you have spark? Also, the ecu's were fragile in those cars. Try tapping the ecu firmly with a screw driver handle, see if it then tries to start.
