Hi, first time poster here. We have a 1969 C10 2wd with a 350 engine and a turbo 400 transmission. The pickup is 100% stock, and has 3.73 gears. I am thinking of putting a 2000 stall speed converter, would anyone with experience offer up any opinions? I am having the transmission completely rebuilt.
Thank you,
RonWT

What do you hope to accomplish with the higher stall converter? I doubt that a 2000 RPM stall converter will make much difference. The stock stall speed for your TH400 is probably around 1600-1800 RPMs, so another couple of hundred RPMS won't make much difference except make the engine use more gas.

depending on use you would probly want a heavy duty or towing rv type rebuild.
