I have a 95 Z28 convert . Both windows and radio are dead . The clock shows in the display but no radio nothing works. All fuses and breakers are good . The net says common problem is the BCM ( body control module ) located under the dash behind the air bag. Lots of pics showing it etc etc but they all seem to be 97 and newer pics. Yet they say 93 up is the same BCM box. I took out the panels and there is no such black box there. In same place is a silver case ABS box about same size guessing and has different plug that what I see pics of the BCM module. Used a mirror all under there and no such animal exists ? Does the 95 have a BCM anywhere , the net info is wrong ? any idea what the actuall problem may be ? I'm not used to this new stuff !!

Net says no bcm til 96. Check into it.

Thanks 4 reply , but I haven't seen that one. Many pics of the BCM saying 93-97 same box, 97-2002 another one. And posts like this :

The BCM, or body control module, controls and monitors all of the electronic accessories in your car. So when you start to see problems crop up with various electronic accessories at once, there is a good chance there is something wrong with your BCM. You can get a new BCM from your local Chevy dealer, but they are notoriously overpriced, and aftermarket parts are available from almost anywhere for less than half the price. Don't bother with trying to buy one from a junk yard, the BCM is set up only to work with the car they are initially installed on.
......I looked again 2day under the dash both sides still did not find it

Still not found the problem. There is no power in the fuse box for the windows and radio , so what feeds those circuits I don't know yet. I ordered the 3 set shop manuals for the car so waiting on them to read the schematics and see where the power comes from. I plugged in a scanner and it says no communication so that is of no help .
