Yup, after owning the '96 for just 3 months she got her first ride on a rollback... Fuel pump took a dump. And to make matters worse, one of the two fuel pump fuses also blew and I had no idea there were two fuses! Anyway, she's all better now. Thank goodness for the Factory Service Manual! Without it I never would have known about the second fuse...

Thanks. I didn't settle this time around. I wanted a yellow LT4 6-speed and that's what we got! Replacing the fuel pump was on my winter to-do list so I guess it just got moved up a bit! LOL!!

Thanks TAT! The fuel pump seems to be fine, it was a new fuel pump relay that added to my angst. As a precaution, I also changed the fuel pump relay with one from NAPA. Turns out it worked once to get the car started so I could get it in the garage. Then it failed. Of course, I tried everything else before swapping the old relay back in! Anyway, it's back running again until the next issue! LOL!!
