It’s a stock original 305. I put an Edelbrock 550 from my other motor with an adaptor. It just will not run with a new carb so could it be that the new carb being not computer controlled like the Rochester is not allowing it to run? Everything on the 305 is original except this new carb.

This can be deleted or ignored. Turns out my coil chose this exact time to go bad. Go figure.

these things happen. i just changed the plugs on my forklift. started it and it ran poorly, sputtering. after a bit of head scratching and more sputtering , found out it ran out of propane. normaly it just dies and not sputter so much when it runs out. lol.

70 L camino, grampa engine, g-force 5 spd, road rage suspension. Pray first before all else fails.
