Greetings everyone, new here. As the subject says, I'm battling an oil leak from the rear of the engine, strange thing to me is, it leaks the same amount of oil (3 drops) per day, everyday. I haven't fired it up in a week and it has put down 3 drops per 24 hours for 7 days and counting. I just don't see how this is possible. I recently overhauled it and I'm using a one-piece Fel-Pro oil pan gasket, the whole area around the flexplate and torque converter is as clean as the day I put it back in the car. I'm puzzled as to why the leak doesn't diminish as the days go by.

I WOULD TRY A OIL DYE KIT.YA CAN FIND THEM FOR AROUND $20.

Any luck with this yet? If not, I went to Harbor Freight and got a cheap digital inspection camera. Perhaps something like this would let you see into spaces you wouldn't be able to otherwise?
