Jesse - - I'm sure this one will turn out as nice as your others have. I hope you decide to keep it in it's original colors... Satin Silver w/Black interior. That's a great combination. And it has A/C and TILT steering column. NICE!!

Chuck

Thanks for the feedback fellas! This car also came with factory power vent and power windows.

Added front stock springs for stock ride height. One of the lowered springs was smaller than the other. Taking the gas tank out to get the car sand blasted soon.

There was car like that around here almost 20 years ago, silver with black top, SS, 409 powerglide, black inside, I would have bought it but way overpriced. This will be a real nice car, what engine will you put in it?

Power windows were an option in 1964. There was no power vent windows option.

Thinking about using a 1966 327 with camel hump heads lying around. Also keeping an eye out locally for another 327 closer to 1964 cast date.

Yes, you are correct. I made a mistake. I verified looking back at another car from my post archive. Thanks for the feedback!

That undercarriage looks really good.... mostly surface rust, undercoating remnants, and good old dirt. Should clean up quite nicely. Good luck with your restoration.

Hard to find cars around here that look that good. My Parisienne is that good, my 62 Bel Air bubbletop had no floor, trunk, rear quarters, hood, trunk, rockers inner or outer- front fenders only had small holes. Gave up on it- found the Pontiac. Your 61 was more like my 62.

Keep up the great work and pictures or your progress.

Thanks for the feedback! This car is definitely one of the nicer floor/trunk pans we’ve seen.

Got the undercarriage painted chassis saver black. Gonna send the car out to have the driver side quarter dent fixed.
