Hey y’all I removed my 3 speed tranny and drive shaft they were shifting fine but when I reinstalled them it wouldn’t shift. I opened the inspection cover and noticed the 1st gear was all the way to rear like it’s not in neutral. It should be in the middle. I tried moving it with my hand but it won’t budge. Any idea on how to get this corrected without removing the tranny? How do I turn the input shaft when it’s connected to the motor? Thanks

The 1-R shift fork is installed incorrectly on the
side cover (180 Degrees out)
That likely caused the 1/R slider gear to slip
off the end of the drum. You may be able to move the drum forward enough to reposition the gear
on the slots and align it with the side cover.
Otherwise the trans will need to come out.
