I have a customer that has a 4 door 65 that the drivers door latch is not latching fully. Seems to function when clipping it shut on its own and will release fine. When shut the door suddenly it just does not fully latch through the second faze of the process. I played with the striker as at 1st thought maybe the striker had come loose enough to move in. Did not matter if I moved it in or out the same results happened on shutting the door. I have seen the latches being listed naturally on 2 doors. Are they by chance the same as a 4 door latch? Tried ebay and found a passenger listed for a 4 door. It does look similar enough to the pictures places like NPD list 2 door latches. I did reach out to my guy I deal with at NPD and he said he shows they only fit 2 doors. If they are different anyone know anyone that might be selling a 4 door latch?

Thanks

corey

My parts catalogue lists only 1 P# ea., LH & RH. Doesn't specify 2 or 4 dr models and no other P#s so my answer is front doors are same, 2 or 4 dr.

Note factory terminology the latch is called a "Lock"....key cylinder is referred to as "cylinder, door lock"
