Hello! I have my Dad's Truck and want to put better tires on. He changed from the 16.5 rim when he bought it new to 16". What size tires are the best for all around for this truck? I mite tow a vintage camper but mainly for just driving and having fun. I have a chance to get near new Dextero P245/70 R16 tires, load index 2094, but still a passenger tire. $100 for all 4 , but is it worth the chance? Thanks

My 67 C20, has 16" wheels, It had Four snap ring 16s in the bbed and is wearing, One Dodge, One Ford, and Two GM. Later today I am going to check with local Salvage Yards for Four Chevy Wheels, of a more recent model, tired of putting air in these bead leakers.

Bit the bullet, ordered from Jegs 16x8 wheels. About same price Two different Yards wanted for a set of curb scrapers.
