Hello, new to the forum. I have searched the topics in 1971-1976, but don't see what pertains to my question.
I am looking to install power windows in my 1971 Impala 4 door hardtop. Is anyone aware of an after market system with motors and regulators, beyond the ones that utilize the window crank?
Would anyone have a photo or similar of what the positioning looks like for the wiring boot that feeds the wires to the rear door through the shortened 'B' pillar? I am assuming that's where the wires would run.....

I don't believe you will find an aftermarket set up ready to install for your '71 4-Door anywhere out there. You will most likely have to go with good used.

I added power windows to my 2 dr. I was able to find everything used. I am sure there are systems you can buy but i have not looked into them. If it was a factory option i would imaging there is a plate that you would have to knock out to put the boots in. it should be pretty evident in the door jamb area where that is. This is what i did on mine.
