I’ve been driving by this farmhouse for 10 years. There an early ‘60s truck (1 ton) sitting there with the “eyebrow” hood. I started working with a guy who lives over there and he gave the landowner name and phone number.
Before I track this guy down I just wanted to be sure of something. The 60-66 pickup hoods are interchangeable right? I have a ’66 C10.

They are indeed interchangeable 1960-1966. I actually prefer the 1960-1961 hood design over 1962-1966, but I think they only look "correct" on the early cab design w/wrap-around windshield - 1960-1963. That's just me, though!
If you go 1960-1961 hood, I think you should consider the grille to help match.

Its been a few months and things have changed.
The gentleman who owns the place/truck has joined his ancestors in Valhalla. His relatives haven't yet decided on whats going to happen with said hood/truck.
I did get some info. Its a 1960 C60 Viking. Some folks in another forum said I'd have to collect the hood hinges as well as the hood latch in order for the swap to work.
Guess it might not even happen so...
