I am considering buying a new Silverado and was wondering if anyone has positive or negative feedback on the 2.7 turbo engine?
Thanks

I don't like turbos on a gas motor that is going to run, under load, w/the turbo engaged, for a long time.

Yea generally speaking if you're going to be hauling stuff then the turbo won't be your best choice over the long term. If you're not going to be hauling stuff then I think it's fine.

Per a friend that bought one for his wife's daily driver, she always has a 4wd truck (nurse). Fine for that but he tried to pull his fishing boat(Lake Superior 200hp OB, 18 ft ?) around and it struggled on the hills (and boat ramp) and was working overtime to pull it. Not much flat country around here so you are always climbing hills.
So as long as you just want a grocery getter should do the job.
