I have a 2-door 1949 Chevy styleline deluxe. I don't have the original engine for it. I have an Inline-6 250 from the 70's and I wanted to know if it will fit in my car? I know from the looks of it the engine mounting location on engine is different from the locations on the car. Any tips or steps on how to do a conversion to mount the engine?
Thank you

To attach the 230 to your trans. you will need an adapter plate.

You will need to manufacture side motor mounts for the 230 to fit also.

The 230 is longer. You will experience clearance problems between the water pump/fan and radiator.
