Does anyone know of a source that, given a bolt PN (Chevy PN), describes the bolt? Or nut? Or washer?
I am missing two body to frame bolts for my '63 Impala 2-door. I have the PNs but don't have a description of what to look for (other than they are 7/16-14 thread). 3776809, 3776811 and 3782111 are the three bolts used to mount the body to the frame. I have the four required '6811 PN and two others. But I don't know the PN of the two others and I need a description/source to get the missing two. Thanks.

There are a total of 8 bolts to mount the body to the frame for any 61 to 64 Impala 2 door hardtop. Only two body bolts have nuts on the bottom (the two on the firewall body mounts)
New body mounting bolts are sold as a reproduction plated set of 8 bolts with the factory style flat washers. This is one option.
I have original factory body bolts that are zinc plated to restore them (they were originally plated by GM).
You can just buy 3 new plated grade 5 bolts in the size you listed ? This is an option.
I doubt that you will find factory GM bolts to buy. (New/NOS bolts -that have never been installed)

Thank you both for your replies. I doubt I would ever find orginal bolts to purchase but in the sets of that I see to buy they all appear to be the same size. (They might now be as pictures can be deceiving.) Since I do have 6 of the eight I wanted to understand which positions the go to so, Chuck, thanks for the list and the info source. This should all be helpful.
On a related subject and maybe I should submit another post, the aftermarket cushions appear to have a metal sleeve in the diameter. It's been awhile since I took mine of the car but the cushions I did take off do not have a metal liner or sleeve. Could someone clarify? Was the sleeve an improvement or did my car not have them but was suppose to or......

According to that parts list, it doesn't show any use of the 'bushing' (sleeve) after the 1960 model year.

Attached are pictures of just over 2 sets of NOS rubber body mounts(with full width metal washers) on the top of each rubber body mount.
Note... the factory metal sleeves around every bolt hole in the rubber mounts
Also pictured are NOS smaller rubber washers used on the bottom of the mounts mounted to the bolt heads.
These are all part GM part # 3772258 used on all 60-64 chevys if you check the list.
I also have experience in 10 to 12 frame off and frame on restorations of 61 to 64 Chevys and these bushings with the large metal washer and the metal sleeve in the bolt hole on all the original cars I disassembled (some of my California cars I reused the original factory rubber bushings that match the ones in my pictures.
Finally I want to repeat that I have about 2 & 1/2 sets (of 8 each) factory body bolts for the mounts most are in excellent condition (all have been zinc plated to restore them) - I would consider selling a set or maybe 2-3 bolts
ALSO.... - All...factory bolts for these factory rubber mounts have pointed ends on every bolt after 8 frame off restorations

Hi Paul,
You have quite a collection of parts. I may take you up on buying a couple of the bolts - namely the ones in Position 6 - by the rear bumper. I'm still looking and totally confused at the same time as when I took things apart I bagged, labeled and logged everything. The mounts in (I think) Position 4 (immediately in from of the trunk were rusted and pretty much rotted away but the bolts and cushions where still there. The ones a 6 were essentially perfect but for some reason I did something with them. But I'm still looking. Thanks to both of you for your help. To some stressing the details would be overkill but for me, it's part of the fun.

I have several part numbers I've not been able to find a description for- Wiki or otherwise. Are there other references that will give part description for a given part in case wiki fails. And maybe I'm looking in wiki in the correct places. Thanks.
