I'm doing a frame off on my 1974 Chevy C20. It's a Camper Special, 2wd, single cab. I want to swap out the cab for a crew cab. I found a good crew cab, but it's on a 1984 Chevy 2500.

Is it possible to take that bad boy and throw it on my '74 frame?

Thanks for any advice!!

Welcome to the the site. Check out www.lmctruck.com

Suspension parts and cab bushings are identical. The front frame ends are different though. You can fit the new front bumper by trimming the top frame rail corner. Careful measurements and inspection will find a few small differences.

It’s been a while since someone asked a major technical question. I may still have some PDF files for frame measurements. It will take me a few days to get to them.
