I would like to know the correct set up on a short shaft turbo 350 going behind a 250 4.1 engine 4 barrel carb. dual exhaust... as in flex plate, torque converter. T.I.A.

can you give more details on what you are running, intended use, and whatnot?

70 L camino, grampa engine, g-force 5 spd, road rage suspension. Pray first before all else fails.

73 Chevy machined 4.1 250 in a 1960 Chevy Impala. 4 barrel carb. dual exhaust, Auto 350 turbo with stock 6 cylinder rear end. Just a weekend cruiser no racing. Need info on flex plate, torque converter and any other tips. T.I.A.

i would lean towards a torque convertor with 2000 rpm stall so you can get going from a standing start. 153 tooth flexplate and starter to match. hope you have a small carb like a 390.
