It will start right up, but stumbles, so that I have to pump the accelerator and it wants to backfire once., After it runs for a minute or so, it runs and idles just right. Any idea what could be causing this? 1986 Camaro 2.8L V6 engine. Runs great after warm-up.

2.8L V6 MFI engine. Upon starting the engine, it runs rough and stumbles upon acceleration. After 1-2 minutes the engine idles and runs great. In the past, I've had a 34 code, which indicated low voltage from the Mass Air Control Valve. I've replaced it and have cleaned the screen on numerous occasions. Has anyone else had this problem and if so,how did you correct it? Is it possible that I sprayed inside and damaged the electronics of the unit, which is the cause of this problem.

What do me Multi Fuel Injection MFI. What part
of the system is causing that type of misfire
has a rough idle for 30 seconds and then it
runs great.

Well, I located the problem. This post is for all you doer youself, so called Backyard Mechanics.

No, it was not all of the above mentioned, but one of the most common mistakes we sometimes overlook.
It was a clogged fuel filter. Yes, I asked online what problems does a clogged fuel filter do to any engine not starting and stay running. Once in awhile shutting off at idle. And That's how I solved this issue. I hope this explanation will help others in the future. Replace the fuel filter first, before spending a lot of unnecessary money on parts you do not need.
