Does anyone have aftermarket mirrors? I need replacements for mine. The '92 sub mirrors look ok. F$%D late '80's mirrors also are a big mirror option.

How well do '70's mirror work? Mine no longer has holes for stock factory large mirrors.

I bought the sport mirrors for my 74 from Classic Parts a few years ago. The mirror upper portion is plastic and did not hold position very well. The OE I had, one was cracked. Searching Ebay, I found the glass mirror replacement and kept using the OE cause mirror holds position great. Those sometimes limit view due to being so small. Works ok for me.

Wow, great info. I had not thought about the upper part being plastic. A search is on for OEM mirrors. Or metal reproduction ones.

Does the mounting bracket have two holes?

The after market mirrors look just like the OE and mount the same. The base is metal and upper portion is plastic. It may be difficult to find OE, but may be possible over time.

I found a set of OEM stainless steel mirrors on utility company owned C10 years ago. I got the truck for free and stripped nearly everything off it. I think they were for trucks with large beds and/or trailered PUs.

I put them on my 73 C10. The mirrors are large and the frame mounts on 3 points on the door.

I can take some pictures if you want?

Are they three point bars? Or the 6"X9" type. The cab molding and mirror mounts holes are welded on mine. I can't bolt on a set of stock mirrors. My other options is '91 sub mirrors. They take place of vent windows.
