Hi,
I bought a 1948 Fleetline Aerosedan last year.
Someone has removed the Fleetline-script on the trunk lid, I have bought a new Script-emplem but I dont know exactly where to drill holes to mount it...

Does anyone know how far up from the trunk handle it is supposed to be?

Any info and help is much appreciated.

Best regards/ Oscar

These trunk lids had holes in them, so it makes me wonder if they just filled them in, easiest way to find them is peel back the black insulation off the inside. I know you probably don't want to damage it. I have a 48 Fleetline Aero sedan so when I get out in the garage I will look and do a measurement for you. Drilling holes in the lid will be a pain.

I measured my truck lid and if you measure from the top of the handle housing my hole closest to the center of the lid is 13 and 5/8 inches. There are 6 holes total.Hope this helps.
