Avid cigar smoker, usually have one or two a week during the winter months here in Connecticut. Might be losing the opportunity to smoke cigars in my neighbors finished basement. Looking for a portable garage heater to smoke cigars in the winter to take the edge off of the cold. What are some "simple" garage heaters to take the cold bite off during the winter months that won't break the bank? Not looking for a perminent heating system. What do you guys have in mind? Thanks ahead for the feedback.

a small propane heater that attaches to the top of a tank. Something like ice fishermen use. instant heat like a small campfire. electric heaters take too long. find a rack n heat up some instant coffee to go with the cigar. very few places allow smoking anymore which i can understand to a limit. cant smoke at a enclosed bus stop but fumes from buses are ok ?

I added 3" to a Harbor freight cart to fit the big tanks.

I'm a little picky on what type of heater I use in the garage. Nothing with open flames or heating elements. I keep cleaning fluids, gas, batteries, solvents, paint... you get the idea, in there. I grabbed an oil filled radiator style from wally world for about $50. Keeps the chill out and no going boom.

My sister works in her basement and uses a portable electric heater, it doesn't get too cold where she lives (perhaps low 40s) and her basement is probably half the size of your typical two car garage. Hers is a 2000W heater and it does the trick. You'll probably just want to pick the wattage that works for you.

Just bought a 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT and negotiated $9k off MSRP. I brag about it every chance I get!

I used this to help heat the shop when I had a wood burner.
