How do I remove inside front door inside panel on my 1955 chevy belair 2dr. sedan?

Welcome to Chevy Talk,
You asking in the original forum,
So I’m guessing your door panel is attached in the original manner.
Several items need to be removed,
Inside window garnish molding
Inside door handles
Screws for arm rest
Once these items are removed, using an upholstery tool you can get between the door panel and the metal door you slide it to each attachment nail and back it out of the door,
Once that’s done lift the door panel up and unhook it from the door, there is a metal retaining strip on the panel and the door at the bottom.
For those that may be wondering, the hooptijutillater does not have to be removed.

I looked at some info I had the 1956 assembly manual, the 1956 Shop manual and the 1955 interior Trim online but didn't find anything about removing the door panel.
Reading through the 1956 shop manual section "Body Section 1-8" there is a reference to
"Servicing the front doors is covered in the 1955 Shop Manual"
naturally I don't have the 1955 manual

Looking for someone that works on tri-five that lives in Port Charlotte, Fl. area that I could get to do the 2 doors for as I can't do them right now and I have the felt kit to do both front doors. If you know of anyone, let me know. Thanks Geno

Photo is from 55 Repair Manual, Body 1-10. (I find the various Chev manuals ESSENTIAL for working on them.)
And I have a follow up question.
How EASY is it to RE-install with the nails used for attachment???
My car currently has very tired custom interior attached with screws; very easy on off for routine repairs such as window glass replacement. Expecting to totally replace interior with original interior from CARSinc.

I looked at how to do front door window felt trim and got some good ideas. I was short the 2 front door upper inside felt C shaped part for each door. It goes from the vent window, top of door to the door post and part way down. I haven't heard back from co. I got kit from and got it months ago. Does anyone have this part extra I could buy from you or a place I could check for part and price. I have looked and they only sell a kit. I would appreciate any help from you. Thanks Geno

My 1955 Chevy 2dr. sedan, I removed door panel and put new felt in the pass. door and cleaned and greased parts. I put it back as u-tube showed and it goes up and down real tight and looks crooked in the channel at door handle side. I left everything loose and did what video said to do and real tight still. I may have to take it apart again and hope I don't have to. Any ideas and help would be appreciated. Thanks Geno
