It's been quiet on this subforum.
I'll break the silence and comment on Denny Hamlin's dirty move on Kyle Larson today at Pocono.
On a restart with less than 10 laps to go, Hamlin pushed Larson up into the wall in turn 1. Dirty move in my opinion.
He did the same thing to Chastain last year at Pocono. Everyone said, well Chastain deserved that based on his driving a year ago, especially around Hamlin.
Larson did nothing to deserve that.
It may turn out that Hamlin is/was Chastain's mentor.
Don't forget about Chase Elliott and Hamlin either. Elliott got to sit a race for retaliating for similar behaviour.
I've been reading/hearing Hamlin's comments for about a year now and he's had me infuriated for a while now. Dirty driver and a crybaby to boot.

Its never Denny's fault. It's always "idiots who don't belong out here" when he's taken out.
I don't like the guys' driving style either. I'm sure he's a great guy off the track, but he's also deliberate with moves like the one on Larson.
Did Nascar ever even call him into the hauler after that race?

They didn't do anything.
All last week, I saw video of similar moves over the years, as well as a bunch of drivers expressing their displeasure.
Just made me madder.

The call against Elliot pissed me off against NASCAR even further. Just a completely crappy call. Let Elliot suffer the payback when he does something and gets dumped for it.
They say everyone can download a bunch of data from every car. Allowing that is crap too. Just lets other drivers whine about the intent of a driver because they have "proof".
With all the rules and oversight, NASCAR should just pay one company to make 40 identical cars and have a random draw to determine which car each driver gets for the weekend. Same with the crews, just have a pool of pit crew people who work for NASCAR. They might as well completely ruin it all in one go instead of continually dragging out the stupidity.
There is a local short track nearby and they soured me the last time I went because there were three different times where 2nd place got their nose into the 1st place door and then both of them straightened it out without changing positions, yet all 3 times they black flagged the 2nd place car.

Hamlin's off track attitude since I originally posted has me even more furious at him. And it went up another notch after his remarks after the win at Bristol Saturday night. The boos were well deserved.
I predict someone is going to take him out and dim his chances for a championship over the next few weeks. He'll play the crybaby card. And it couldn't happen to someone more deserving.
