Does it have any ultra-rare factory tricks?

Nice find! Very well optioned. It looks like someone changed the alternator to the passenger side.

I think by this time the alternator had moved to the center of the engine using that bracket.

My 71 Chevy k10 had he alternator on the driver side. My son's 71 GMC C10 is here now and has the alternator on the driver side, ac compressor on the pass side. If that 67 is correct, where did they mount the ac compressor?

The exhaust manifold has a provision for the alternator mounting. However, the intake appears to be from a mid 70s era vehicle and thus, the bracket.

I do not know, however, the AC compressor was over the power steering pump once. But I have only had about 60 Old Chevrolets, and worked on about 300 more. The only new vehicle I ever bought was a 1968 C10. I am not an expert, and will not tell anybody that they are wrong. In the GM world, any, and all things, were possible.

My question now, and I am asking everyone, even Astrophysicist and World Famous Chevy Expert Tony. What is their method of cleaning oxidation that forms between Stainless ends on Buss Fuses and Copper Alloy Clips on Fuse Boxes?

The engine layout in the 70s had the compressor on the LH side above the power steering pump. Is that intake aluminum? If so, it looks like a mid to late 70s era factory aluminum intake.

I did not tell anyone that they were wrong.
I did recall my parents having an early 70s era Chevrolet with that alternator bracket and the AC compressor (A6) was on the LH side above the power steering pump.
I missed that it is a 67 model and see that now in your signature. I would agree that in 1967 that bracket was not yet used. It appears that the engine might be a later swap in.
To me, it appeared to be an appropriate layout of the underhood for an early 70s.
I believe that these snarky remarks are the reason that you see such a low participation. Think of the dozens, if not hundreds of people who read these replies and choose not to contribute.

1967 Chevrolet C10-C20, Master Cylinder and Booster-
Both have dual chamber Master, C10, Front part is Front Brakes-C20 Front part is for Back Brakes, Booster for C10, is 1 3/4" shorter than C20 Booster-- C20 Booster is unobtainable-So You have to use C10 Booster with a spacer. The rod through the firewall operates a bellcrank that then pushes the plunger on the booster, this was done to clear the steering column, like they never counted on these trucks having power brakes.

Greetings!
I have also recently acquired a '67 C20 CST. Purchased from the grandson of the original owner. I'll be monitoring your progress with great interest so I can pick up some tips!
As soon as my profile gets updated to allow embedded photos, I'll post some images. Best of luck with your project.
I know my future includes metal work, engine/trans rebuild, electrical and some fancier 8-lugs wheels.....

Today, put new rubbers on vent flaps, blew out then vacuumed, pockets behind kick panels, then sprayed rust converter in same. Found left front brake cylinder leaking, jacked and supported front and pulled wheels.

Most important advice I have, for 67-72 C series owners. Never park your truck anywhere leaves can fall on the cowl. First step in renovation, is pull the cowl and kick panel vents and blow, and vacuum, then put screen wire under louvers of cowl.
