Does any know if the main bearing bolt holes are blind holes, or do they go into the oiling system?

Awesome, thank you, I thought so,but after drilling, tapping & putting in a helicoil, I wanted to make sure I didn't ruin my new crank & bearings!

I didn't think it was acceptable to helicoil the main bearing threads?
