I have a 39 Chevrolet master deluxe it orginally had a 216 engine in it. I am going to but a 230 engine in it. Where can I find motor mounts? If some companies that makes any? Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, I checked the Rock Auto site and found none.

None on eBay either.

Do you have a pic of the old one?

The orginal motor mounts supports location front of the motor below the water pump. And the other ones location was towards the front of the trans. The 230 engine motor mounts location are in the middle of the engine. On the side of the engine block just above the oil pan.

If you have the old mounts, you might try to buy some bulk motor mount material and see if that will bond to the original steel frame.

I seem to recall reading somewhere an article where this was one. They used a band saw to cut the material and also add the cutout where the motor mount fit in place. They used some type of body shop panel adhesive to bond them together.

People fear change because it threatens what they know, or what they claim to know.

What trans/bellhousing are you going to use? The 230 has side motor mounts while the 216 used a front mount and the side of the bellhousing.

More info on what you're trying to do (the big picture) will help get the right answer...

I think the adapter mounts to put a V8 in your car could be easier to use to swap the 230 into your car, and take less reworking than anything else. But if I was doing this swap I'd simply bolt on original 230 motor mounts, and position the engine in the car, and fabricate the mounts from steel plate.
But you've got a lot more than motor mounts to build in order to make this engine swap complete. Since you will need a different bellhousing, and likely may end up needing to swap out trans, rear axle, and go to open driveline.
Best to ferret out the whole swap before you start the engine part.

I have a 700r4, driveline and rearend from a 89 S10. What rear leaf springs would I use? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Simplest would be to use the stock leaf springs, or stock replacements. But you'll need to cut the perches off the S10 axle and get perches for a 1.75" spring, and weld them on at the correct width.
I don't know of any simpler, or cheaper way to install the S10 axle.

I have collected more parts here is my list of parts. I think I am going to go with Heidts crossmember. Any negative on using Heidts crossmember? What should the engine, Transmission, drivelin degree should be? What gear ratio should I put in the rearend? I plan on it to be a cruiser and be able to keep up with other cars on the highway? Thank yor for your help.
1. 230 engine
2.700r4
3. S10 rearend and driveline.
