Fuel pump went out a couple years ago and I changed it.
It ran but always had this issue. It would start and idle great for a minute then it would start acting as if it were going to die then rev up. After a couple minutes of this it will die. It will start right up but repeat the sequence.
A couple days ago I was hauling gravel and backing around a hill at a semi steep angle. It started cutting out and died. Ended up having to start it with ether. Got it on level ground and after a while it was back to normal. Had a half tank of gas in it at the time.
Yesterday after driving for an hour and a half I stopped at jobesite. It wouldn't start for 45 minutes but ran fine after.
Could this be a fuel pump issue? Help please.
