Hi all,
I have some mystery parts that I had taken off the Delivery Sedan about 5 years ago...and I am at a complete loss trying to remember what they are for..???? Any one happen to know..? I tried the usual searches and catalogs, old chevy manuals, everything I can think of. Obviously, I should have marked them when I took them off...:) Hopefully you all can see the photo..?

They look like the plates that the body retainer thru-bolts go through on the bottom of the frame.
I am going on '37 &'38 Chevy knowledge,as I haven't owned a '49-'54 since 1971.

You are correct. Body mount "washers" that rest on the bottom of the frame. I would have to look at my sedan delivery to confirm location but offhand I believe they go in the area of the rear compartment where the frame kicks up over the rear axle. I'll look tonight to confirm.

Those washers go, two on each side, to the rear of the frame past the kick up for the rear axle. You’ll see the mounting holes on the bottom of the frame with a smaller hole beside them for the small tab on the washer itself.
