The plan is to get a 6 cyl or 307 plain Jane car and install a spare 479" big block motor I have , a 700-R4 and 12 bolt diff in it.

The motor I have, has the GM Winters alum large port 427/425 intake on it.

Will that fit under a stock hood with a Holley and drop base air cleaner?

The motor also has teh cast iron large port Corvette exhuast manifolds, will those clear things like the steering and frame rails?

Any foreseeable problems?, or things to look out for when shopping for a car, that would make this engine/transmission swap problematic?.

What about the 12 bolt, and issues with putting that on a low HP car?

Oh, yeah, It would end up with 4 wheel discs, one way or another.

NOT looking to build an SS clone at this time.

Thanks,
Doug
