On the way home from having a new A/C compressor installed my RamJet 350 EFI was stumbling at idle, and actually died once. could this be a bad IAC? Or?
This is the engine in the 56? Or the 2001? Obd11 pcm will control idle speed at a preset idle value.
Normally the pcm would increase the idle as the compressor engaged.

It is the '56 pickup. Not OBD would have to take it to tuner for faults. It always has (5years) raised idle on start and when AC compressor runs. just started acting up on my way home from AC shop.
