My 62 Nova had over heated for years. I have tried very combination of fans (electric & Mechanical) WITH AND WITHOUT SHROUDS.
When I get on the highway temp is 160 that is the thermostat I'm running. After about 15 miles temp is up to 190 degrees then jumps to 200, 210 and 220 DEGREES out SIDE TEMP AROUND 92 DEGREES AT about the 30 mile mark. I'm running a Chevy 350 Edelbrock performer heads and intake. Cam is a COMP Magnum with 280 duration and 110 lobe separation. I just installed a Summit #381700 3 row 1” core radiator with a 3000 CFM puller fan. NO difference in temp. Removed the front bummer to get more air flow to bottom of radiator NO change. Installed a new Chevy performance distributor with 28 - 32 degrees total advance. NO difference. ANY HELP OR IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT I'M RUNNING OUT OF THEM.

My 1965 Chevy II has been repowered with a 350. I just measured the pulleys. The crank pulley is 7
" and water pump is 6.50". I bought the car this way.
