Nothing like a 68-70 396 for me, as well as the COPO version. The SS versions are a great example of the model run.
These models could take all the motors and drive trains of the time so they were quite configurable.

Right out of high school in May of 69 my friends mom had a or 69 6 cylinder Nova. I loved the simple dash ad the car. I have a 67 Camaro I might would trade for a 68 or 69 Nova.

early novas have a removeable cross member so oil pan removal is easy. makes engine inspection and repair faster if need be. i like a 67
70 L camino, grampa engine, g-force 5 spd, road rage suspension. Pray first before all else fails. |

Bunch (13 or so) of our buddies from High school got 1966 327/350 L79 cars for graduation. I had one ordered when I went to boot camp and Dad got pissed at me and let it go. When in Viet Nam at the "big" PX in Da Nang they had some mfgs there to just sell cars, This was in late 1968. I wanted a 396/375 Chevy II but the wouldn't let me order the 375. no matter how much deposit I gave 'em!! I went home to Atlanta and bought a new Dodge Coronet R/T!

Thank you for your service.
People fear change because it threatens what they know, or what they claim to know. |
