I am wanting to know if this combination will work? And if these carbs are worth purchasing? The dual carburetor intake manifold doesn't have a manufactuer name on it. The carburetor is qty2 1 barrel holly carburetors model 94. This is what the ad says carb look old maybe 50 to 60 time period. The intake they are asking $125.00. Both Holley carburetor $150.00. My engine is 1958 inline 6 235 engine. Than you for your help.

Condition given their age is going to be the issue. If they are rebuildable and the manifold is not warped or cracked, I would think it could be well worth the $. Then again, I would probably get the dual carb intake, machine a couple of adapter plates and put a pair of GM 4 cylinder 1 bbl TBI units on it. I mention that because I have done just that on a later 235 that was swapped into a 37 Chevy.

you need to know what you are looking at. does it have fuel lines? linkage? make sure the carbs are for that manifold.

FWIW this is almost exactly how I setup the one I had my hands on. The 94ish 4.3L V6 computer I used runs both injectors. It ran very smoothly, had good power and great fuel mileage. It was a 235 with a 4L60E behind it. I like the vintage look of the I6 and dual "carb" setup. The TBI requires minimal wiring which is also a plus for the look.
