does anybody know what size wheel and backspacing i would need to squeeze chevy rally wheels on my stock 62 impala? i have disc brakes so stock impala 14's might not fit over them, so i wanted to see about going bigger with rally style wheels..looking at 16 or 17's

I used the Chevrolet rally wheels on a 1964 Impala. From what I remember, they were 15 inch wheels on the BF Goodrich TA tires.
I cannot recall the exact application but I bought the wheels completely refurbished with new centers and trim rings. Worked perfectly.
People fear change because it threatens what they know, or what they claim to know. |

FWIW, I have 15" rally's on my '65 with 215R70s all around. It has a Corvette front disc upgrade, no fitment problems. Not sure about 16-17".
