I have a 2015 Chevy Impala LT. I recently changed the air intake hose since the old one was completely cracked. I also changed my air filter because the old one was full of gunk. Once I made the changes I started to get a loud wheezing sound from the front part of my engine. There is a smaller hose that connects from the intake hose to the front of the engine and once I remove that hose, the wheezing goes away immediately and once I put that hose back on, the wheezing persist. I thought it was a bad air filter and I swapped it out with another one and had the same wheezing issue. Looking online, I got too many variable answers from the Idle Air Control Valve, PCV Valve to the entire throttle body itself. Can you please help?

Welcome to the forum. If this did not occur before the changes you made, it sounds like there is a small leak somewhere in the intake components, probably before the throttle body, a small orifice would account for a slight whistle at idle or steady throttle. Tough diagnosis from here.

Thank you for the input Shepherd. A mechanic friend ending up finding out what the issue was. The Air Intake Hose that I bought at Autozone (Dorman) was defective. My friend made some slight modifications to the inlet and the sound went away. Serves me right for not buying OEM parts. I appreciate your answer.
