hi everyone,
wondering if anyone would have a pic of their rear end disc brake line configuration?
I installed a 1978 rear end in a '51 chevy coupe and installed a rear disc Right Stuff kit. I have searched for a diagram of some rear disc brake line diagrams, but not having much luck..... so wondering if anyone on here would have one they could share, or point me in the right direction?
Thank you

I have a 10 bolt 8.5 GM rear from that generation in my 51 Belair, stock drum brakes, what are you looking for, brake line routing?

Ok, on my 51 the rear brake line comes along the left frame rail, then it connects to a flex hose then to the "tee" junction on the axle housing. From there you would have a hard line to each caliper. It is possible your rear calipers are metric type which would require "metric bubble" flare line connections at the caliper fittings. I just did this job on a 53 Belair with a 9" Ford rear and disc brakes. Use a high quality flaring tool to do this to avoid possible leaks.
