I am working on my 84 Caddy, but pretty much all the GM cars with 6 way power seats use the same parts, I think. I have both my seats out because they were all the way back and down. I have the replacement couplers to go between motor and the seat transmission gears. I was manually moving my seat rail back and forth with a drill, and all of a sudden, something just snapped. Upon further investigation, I discovered the worm gear that drives the big gear that moves the rail snapped. Of course, being a dumba$$ I did the same to the other one, so now I need two worm gears or the transmissions that interacts between the square drive cable and the seat rail I'm gonna try to post a couple of pics if I can figure out how. I will post in 64-86 full size Chevy forums also, Thanx!!
